Hi, my name is Derek 👋

As a UX Designer with a background in psychology and mental health counseling, my number one priority is the human behind it all…their wants, desires, and needs.

My goal is to create clean, simple, and enjoyable designs that meet the user where they’re at. Truly understanding people and seeing things from their perspective is something I deeply value. My time working as a therapist and in the human service realm has honed my ability to take a step back and look at things through the eyes of those around me. It excites me to apply this perspective in the UX work that I do.
